Our Busy Green Council

It’s been a super productive and busy month for our Green Council.

At the start of November, our local MP, Catherine West, planted a tree at Highgate Primary with the help of some Green Council children and Flo, our gardener. The crab apple tree was given to Catherine West by Extinction Rebellion, who then donated it to Highgate Primary to be planted in the mini-orchard in the school playground. No doubt crab apple jelly will be on the school menu in years to come.

As well as encouraging families to leave their cars behind and come to school by public transport, walking or cycling, on Wednesday 6th November the Green Council children led an Anti-Idling action outside the school which was a huge success.
