Flower Wall for Climate Change

Everywhere in the world climate protests and climate awareness activities took place during the month of September. As a school community we have been very active in raising awareness about the issues of climate change. On Friday 20th September, Climate Protest Day and Car Free Day in London, we gave the children from Highgate Primary School the opportunity to join this movement.

As well as encouraging families to leave their cars behind and come to school by public transport, walking or cycling, children helped the Green Council create a wall of flowers and messages on North Hill to show our hope for the future of the planet.

We were overwhelmed by the passionate messages from the children who want their voices to be heard and are proud to be part of this crucial movement.

Thank you to Simon from North London Trees Ltd for donating cuttings for a greener wall and to our brilliant Green Council for their dedication.
