Assessment
The school has strong assessment procedures in place to track the academic progress of all children as they move through the school. Termly pupil progress meetings review this progress and help the school decide how resources are best allocated to meet children’s changing needs.
The attainment of all children is formally recorded at the end of each term through teacher assessment. In addition to this, the school submits the National Curriculum standards that children have attained to the Department for Education at the end of each Key Stage (Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2).
